Nick Carter Obtains Testimony From Partner Of Sexual Assault Accuser For Defense

Nick Carter is pulling all the possible stops to clear his name once and for all amid his sexual assault case!

The singer tendered a new testimony to the court from a former partner of one of his sexual assault accusers to prove his innocence.

Nick Carter was dragged to court in 2023 by Ashely Repp, who accused him of sexual battery and nonconsensual sex on two separate occasions when she was just a minor.

According to Carter, Repp's former boyfriend revealed that she was a huge Backstreet Boys and Nick Carter fan back in the day, even after the alleged assault happened.

Repp's ex testified that she would spend hours online in group chats with Backstreet Boys fans. She also operated a fan website for the boys and always spoke highly of them. The testimony read:

"Ashely's fondness for the band and Nick Carter remained unchanged throughout the seven years we were together."

He further declared that in all the years he was in a romantic relationship with Repp, she never stated that Carter "coerced, assaulted or was anything but kind to her." Throughout their relationship, he reiterated her devotion to being a big fan of the Backstreet Boys.

Carter's lawyer then pointed out to the court that Repp's ex's claims about her being a dedicated Carter fan came after she alleged the sexual assault occurred, which could only mean his client was innocent, per In Touch.

Carter did not stop at Repp’s ex; he also got her former friend, Ashley Ponczkowski, who claimed they met in a Backstreet Boys fan chat room when they were 13.

Ponczkowksi said Repp catfished her by pretending to be Carter in a text, saying she was beyond excited to receive the message and talk to her “idol.”

Carter then accused Repp of continuing with her deranged catfishing for years and pretended to be his former girlfriend, Willa Ford, at some point. His lawyer claimed:

"Accordingly, years before her stay [at Nick’s family home], when she was in her early teens if she is telling the truth about her age, [Ashley] was already an obsessed and deranged Carter fan, pretending to be Carter and his girlfriend to at least one young Backstreet Boys’ fan."

The Incident Started With A Fan Website

Carter continued in his expose that Repp created a website for his sister, Angel, in 2002 of her own volition. Repp’s kindness prompted Angel to invite her to the Carter family home to introduce herself.

The trip happened in 2003, and Carter claimed Repp traveled on her own from Pennsylvania to Florida two different times, and she spent a handful of days.

Repp allegedly told everyone she was 18 despite being a minor at that time. She also reportedly hooked up with Carter’s brother and another man. Carter and Repp also hooked up upon his arrival at their family home as he believed her claim to be 18.

However, her stay was cut short after Angel asked her to leave the house after causing drama. The family then filed a police report complaining about the "party atmosphere, alcohol, drugs, and lack of parental supervision."

Carter continued that her mom did not mention sex or sexual assault, and Repp herself told the police that she had consensual sex at the house.

Carter’s countersuit against Repp was thrown out by the judge this week, but he shared his plans to come back stronger with an appeal.

According to his lawyer: “Ashley Repp already admitted to law enforcement that she deceived Mr. Carter and his family and friends. Our evidence and witnesses show that her deceptive ways continue to this day, and we will, of course, appeal this ruling,”

The Plaintiff was glad her voice was finally being heard and believed, stressing that it was all she ever wanted. Repp added that she hoped “anyone else struggling can do the same.”

“Ashley had to fight a brave fight. More Defendants are responding to sexual abuse lawsuits by suing survivors for defamation. These attempts to scare off the truth of sexual abuse have a massive chilling effect on survivors seeking to bring claims against powerful people.” declared one of Repp’s lawyers.

Carter’s multiple sexual assault allegation was the focus of a docuseries from Investigation Discovery titled “Fallen Idols.” His late brother Aaron Carter also got his own fair share of sexual abuse allegations.

The Blast noted that the series featured Melissa Schuman, Shannon Ruth, and Repp, who all claimed the singer sexually assaulted them. Shannon was the first to file a sexual assault lawsuit among the victims, setting the tone for the rest of the docuseries.

The docuseries title card noted that Carter denied all the allegations. The 44-year-old refused to be interviewed for the series, further raising suspicions among viewers about his nature behind closed doors.
