Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds put Columbus stop on spring 2025 tour
Known for his booming baritone and pitch-dark lyrics, Nick Cave will head to Columbus next spring with his band, the Bad Seeds, on their first North American tour since 2018.
Presented by CAPA and AEG, the group will perform on May 2 at the Palace Theatre in support of their recently released 18th studio album, "Wild God."

Prior to forming the Bad Seeds in 1983, Cave fronted the post-punk band The Birthday Party. He is considered a major influence on the goth genre and subculture, with his frequent themes of death, religion, love and violence.
He has achieved mainstream success with his quieter, piano-driven ballads, even those with tales of murder — most notably "Where the Wild Roses Grow," his 1996 duet with Kylie Minogue.

With a setlist spanning four decades, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds were called one of rock's "most enduring, redoubtable" bands by Pitchfork. The two-time Grammy nominees have won several awards in Cave's native Australia.
Individually, the 66-year-old Cave has received many awards and honors, including three honorary doctorate degrees and the Order of Australia, "for distinguished service to the performing arts as a musician, songwriter, author and actor, nationally and internationally, and as a major contributor to Australian music culture and heritage."
