Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have shared their “Song for Amy” from the new Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black.

The Bad Seeds duo also composed the score for the film, but the swirling ballad “Song for Amy” features vocals by Cave, who croons on the track, “You needn’t care what they say / I’ll still love you anyway / Love kills everything / Just to take it away.”

“Nick and Warren were the only musicians in my mind to score Back to Black,” director Sam Taylor-Johnson previously said of working with Cave and Ellis. “Over the years, I’ve listened to everything they’ve composed and longed to realize the dream of working together. Their sensibility as well as understanding of this story has led to a profoundly deep and moving film score.”

Back to Black opened Friday in the U.K., with the film and its soundtrack set to arrive stateside on May 17. Along with Marisa Abela starring as Winehouse, the cast also features Jack O’Connell as Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Lesley Manville as Winehouse’s grandmother Cynthia, Eddie Marsan as her father Mitch and Juliet Cowan as her mother Janis. The movie was made with support from the Winehouse estate.

Cave will have more new music arriving in the coming months as Wild God, his 18th album with the Bad Seeds, is due out on August 30.
