Nick Offerman burns Donald Trump and J.D. Vance with 'Proud to Be a Kamala Man' song dedicated to ex-GOP voters
Offerman sang the song as part of the "Comics for Kamala" fundraiser event, which also featured Kathy Griffin, Margaret Cho, Ed Helms, John Stamos, and Rosie O'Donnell.
Nick Offerman dug deep into his musical soul to get to the heart of the male political perspective with a new satirical song aimed at courting support for Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.
The Parks and Recreation actor appeared Monday night among the stacked lineup of comedy personalities who participated in the Comics for Kamala fund-raising event, during which he sang an original tune from the perspective of reformed Republican voters.
Offerman introduced the song by telling the audience he was "powerfully grateful" to support Harris, "who didn't just prosecute rapists, but also is not one herself," he added.
"I think there are going to be a lot of Republicans that, for obvious reasons, are going to be Kamala curious," the 54-year-old observed, noting that he wrote his song from the perspective of Republican men who "might've once been blind, but now can see a way clear to decency" in supporting Harris' bid for the White House.
Offerman played the guitar to the tune of "God Bless the U.S.A." (a.k.a. "Proud to Be an American") as he sang along. "When he mocked the disabled and war heroes, I looked the other way. He said to march on the Capitol, well if the president says it's okay!" Offerman sang, before referencing Trump's entanglement with Stormy Daniels and an internet joke about Trump's running mate, Hillbilly Elegy subject J.D. Vance, and a couch.
"I don't mind sex with porn stars, I'd do it too if I had the guts. But, when it comes to f---ing the furniture, that's just f---ing nuts. I'm proud to be a Kamala Man, who has quit the GOP, because I just can't abide a man who's tried for 34 felonies. It's time to stand up and face the facts that the men that I once cheered are a bunch of wing-nut white nationalists. Those guys are f---in' weird," Offerman continued.

His lyrics shifted focus to a July assassination attempt against Trump, which led to the death of a bystander.
"I'm no theologian, I thought it rather queer when they said that God let that fireman die, but only nicked Don's precious ear," Offerman sang. "So, I'm proud to be on Kamala's side, where I know I'll never see some spray-tanned tool denying a girl her ethnic identity. And J.D. Vance looks like a baby's butt underneath that creepy beard, so I'll say it loud and I'll sing it proud, those guys are f---in' weird."
Offerman's support for Harris came amid an impassioned streaming event that also included contributions from Ben Stiller, D.L. Hughley, Jon Hamm, Kathryn Hahn, Ed Helms, John Stamos, Rosie O'Donnell, Kathy Griffin, and Margaret Cho.
At the end of the three-hour event, the broadcast raised more than $532,000 for Harris' campaign.
