Nicki Minaj Appears To Blasts Ex Safaree For Acting A Fool During Miami Concert
Safaree Samuels has never been the type to play it cool, recently attending the Sunday (Oct. 6) Miami concert of ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, and making sure the public knew all about his experience via various pics and clips shared on social media.
While this is no big deal for the average fan, Minaj has come out to question why the Love & Hip Hop star couldn’t enjoy the show “incognito.”
“When you’re at peace and when you’re happy, so many things will start coming to try to steal your joy and to steal your peace,” she said during a chat with the Barbz on Stationhead. “Please don’t let it […] All we ask is to leave us alone before — well, y’all karma is about to be bad if you’ve been disrespecting Nicki and the Barbz. However, it’s going to get even worse.”
She went on to reference Safaree’s concert experience with, “Everyone knows how to go to watch anything and be incognito. I’m a f**king superstar. If I wanna go to a concert and be completely incognito, I would know how to do it, okay? I ain’t filming myself and all this shit, doing fucking TikToks. What the f**k?”
Safaree shared a vlog of his experience on YouTube, among other things highlighting that he wore a jean vest, the item of clothing ex-girlfriend Minaj famously clowned him for ahead of a performance during the early stages of her career.
Minaj went on to threaten to go on a hiatus if the Barbz don’t weed out the corny among them.
“And if y’all don’t get they a**es together, that hiatus is going to be a lot more next level than you ever could have planned or imagined…So make sure you unfollow, block, report, do everything you got to do. Anybody been on some clown sh*t on my muthaf**king timeline, I’ll find out — even if I’m not on there.”

Nicki and Safaree met in 2002 when Minaj joined the Hood$tars, a group including Safaree (who rapped under the name SB) and rappers Lou$tar and Svn-Up. In 2005, the group kicked Safaree out and Nicki left with him in a show of loyalty to her man, Complex reports. Safaree then worked as her hypeman as Nicki’s career took off, with the couple keeping their relationship status under wraps.
The couple celebrated 10 years together in March of 2014, but just seven months later, called it quits, as Safaree was spotted with his Nicki Minaj tattoos covered up. Nicki went on to date Meek Mill and eventually, current husband Kenneth Petty. Safaree went on to date Love & Hip Hop‘s NIkki Mudarris before moving on to co-star Erica Mena, proposing to the Bronx native in 2018 and welcoming two children together. They’ve since parted ways.
