Nicki Minaj‘s fifth studio album Pink Friday 2 has had major success upon its Dec. 8th release.

The project arrived on Minaj’s 41st birthday and has since become RIAA certified gold, selling 500,000 equivalent album units, according to Chart Data. Additionally, the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” icon has broken Spotify’s record for biggest album debut by a woman rapper in 2023, with a reported 41 million streams since PF2’s release.

Elated to see her hardworking pay off, Minaj took to X excitedly writing, “Barbz, Look,” while sharing the album’s newest accolades.

Pink Friday 2 boasts musical assistance from J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobng, Drake, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, Future, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Minaj has also announced that the album will add four additional tracks this week, including a remix to “Beep Beep” with fellow Queens rapper, 50 Cent.
