Nicola Coughlan has arrived at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards looking like pure royalty.

The actor made an entrance in a fabulous silver dress entirely covered in sequins. The sculptural piece featured a dramatic hourglass silhouette and an open off-the-shoulder neckline.

She wore the look with white and yellow diamond earrings and blush makeup. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a pretty, straight ’do.

While our favorite Bridgerton diamond is not nominated for any awards at tonight’s ceremony, she has been confirmed as a presenter.

The 2024 Emmys are taking place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. This year’s awards show celebrates the best in television that aired between June 2023 and May 2024. Shows nominated include The Crown, Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Only Murders in the Building, among many others.

Because Bridgerton Season 3 was released in two parts (May 16 and June 13), it missed the eligibility deadline for the 2024 Emmys and must wait to compete in 2025.

Regardless, Coughlan has had quite a year. On the show, her character, Penelope Featherington, had her shining moment this past season, elevating her as the leading lady with the big career and the hunk of the season: Luke Newton’s Colin Bridgerton.

“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten better at living in the moment and trying to take things in as they happen,” the actor told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year while wrapping up her monthslong global press tour for Bridgerton and Big Mood.

When her season came to end, she couldn’t help but burst out in tear. She said: “I think my emotions were so high because I realized what a privileged position I was in, getting to lead [Bridgerton], getting to play this character, having Luke and the incredible creative team by my side. It was a real gift, and it was coming to an end.”
