Carrie Bradshaw isn’t the only one with cute shoes in the city. While filming an episode of “And Just Like That…” on Aug. 28, actor Nicole Ari Parker was seen in a pair of chic pumps and an eclectic look.
Parker plays Lisa Todd Wexley on the series. In the latest images from set she wears a pair of white patent leather pumps with a black cap toe. The shoes notably feature a strap across the instep. The strap includes a small gold buckle.
The pump is from Jennifer Chamandi. The company calls it their Lorenzo Bicolor Mary Jane pump. The strap is likely why the British brand calls it a Mary Jane though the silhouette is often low and features a rounded toe. The Lorenzo silhouette is a signature style.
Chamandi, an eight-year-old brand, is a favorite of royalty like Kate Middleton, as well as Meghan Markle and Queen Rania. Bella Hadid was wearing the label before it launched.
It’s certainly not the first black and white heel to be sported on the show. Earlier this summer, in fact, while filming, Sarah Jessica Parker wore Maison Margiela’s eccentric Bourgeois Spectator heel while portraying her character Carrie Bradshaw. With its sculpted heel, that shoe features brogue detailing and Margiela’s signature Tabi toe. Before that, she was seen in a pair of black and white pumps with polka dot detailing from the Sarah Jessica Parker Collection.
Earlier this month, it was announced that SJP Collection would be closing its doors. After a decade of business, the company will shutter this fall.
“And Just Like That…” is styled by a costume design team that include Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. They often provide fans with full look breakdowns, including shoes on their personal Instagram accounts as well as the costume department’s joint account while filming is ongoing.
