Nicole Kidman and Zo? Salda?a Favor Dramatic Hips in Bottega Veneta and Balmain for ‘Special Ops: Lioness’ Season Two Premiere Red Carpet

Zo? Salda?a and Nicole Kidman took similar sartorial cues for their respective looks at the “Special Ops: Lioness” season two premiere on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The actresses appear in the Paramount+ series from creator Taylor Sheridan.

For the red carpet occasion, Salda?a opted for a selection from Balmain’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The sleeveless look featured a plunging neckline in a muted shade of lilac. The tone of the bodice of the look was contrasted with a fiery red skirt.

Salda?a’s high-waisted, formfitting skirt featuring mild fabric ruching at the waist and a structural hip element as well. The actress’ hair was styled by Mara Roszak, with makeup courtesy of Vera Steimberg. Salda?a’s look was curated by stylist Petra Flannery. The garment made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week last September.

For her attire, Kidman favored a look from Bottega Veneta’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The sleeveless ensemble featured a draped bodice in an off-white hue with a halter neckline. Much like Salda?a’s ensemble, Kidman’s look also had a high-waisted skirt with structured hips.

Adding contrast by way of color and texture, Kidman’s skirt featured shades of yellow, gray and white. The skirt also featured a bevy of pleating as well as tassel-like elements to add tension and a contemporary edge to the piece. The actress was styled by Jason Bolden.

Kidman’s designer look made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week last September as well. “I wanted to have a show space that feels playful and that brings joy,” Matthieu Blazy, Bottega Veneta’s creative director since November 2021, said of the show.

“Special Ops: Lioness” follows CIA operative Joe, played by Salda?a, as she struggles to balance her professional and personal life amid the agency’s war on terror. The second series of the series premieres on Paramount+ on Sunday.
