Nielsen Streaming Top 10: ‘Prison Break’ Makes No. 5 After Netflix Debut, ‘House of the Dragon’ Leads the Chart
“Prison Break” was the fifth-most-streamed series of the July 29 to Aug. 4 window, during which it was added to Netflix, per Nielsen. The drama series, which ran on Fox from 2005 to 2017, was watched for 758 million minutes across both Netflix and Hulu, where it was previously available.
The week’s chart was led by “House of the Dragon,” which was streamed for 1.3 billion minutes. This was its seventh week in a row coming in above the one billion mark, a feat made more impressive by the fact that the series also airs on HBO’s linear channel, where viewership does not count towards the chart.
