‘Night Manager’ Season 2 Casts Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, Hayley Squires
The upcoming second season of “The Night Manager” is adding three actors to its cast.
Variety has learned that Indira Varma (“Game of Thrones,” “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One”), Paul Chahidi (“The Death of Stalin,” “This Country”), and Hayley Squires (“I, Daniel Blake,” “Beau Is Afraid”) have all joined the spy drama. They will appear alongside previously announced cast members Tom Hiddleston, who will reprise the role of Jonathan Pine from Season 1, as well as Diego Calva and Camila Morrone.

Exact character and plot details are being kept under wraps. Season 2 will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and outside of the UK globally on Prime Video.
Varma is repped by 42, Gersh, Principle Entertainment LA, and Schreck Rose. Chahidi is repped by Gordon and French. Squires is repped by B-Side Management and Entertainment 360.
Season 1 of “The Night Manager” is based on the John le Carré’s novel of the same name. The second season is said to be inspired by the characters from the novel.
David Farr, who developed the series, will return to write Season 2 and executive produce. Hiddleston is also an executive producer, as is Season 1 star Hugh Laurie. Stephen Garrett is the lead non-writing executive producer, executive producing on behalf of Character 7 along with: Georgi Banks-Davies (who will also direct), Joe Tsai and Arthur Wang for 127 Wall, Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, and Tessa Inkelaar for The Ink Factory, Adrián Guerra for Nostromo Pictures, William D. Johnson for Demarest Films, Nick Cornwell, Susanne Bier, and Chris Rice for Fifth Season, and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC. The series is produced by The Ink Factory in association with Character 7, Demarest Films and 127 Wall, and in co-production with Nostromo Pictures. Fifth Season is handling global distribution.
“The Night Manager” originally debuted in 2016 to much fanfare, becoming one of the most-watched shows of the year in the UK. It was nominated for numerous awards, with Hiddleston winning the Golden Globe for best actor in a limited series. He was also nominated for an Emmy for his role in the show.
