Nikki Bella Spotted Without Engagement Ring at First Public Appearance Since John Cena Split
Nikki Bella is moving on.
The Total Bellas star was spotted without her engagement ring during her first public appearance since announcing her split with John Cena earlier this month. Nikki and her sister, Brie Bella, hosted a rosé party at the Sanctuary Camelback Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona, on Saturday during the Nirvana Food and Wine Festival.
The 34-year-old WWE wrestler appeared to be in good spirits, enjoying a glass of wine while chatting with the other guests and posing with her sister in the photo booth. Nikki was all dolled up in a white dress with black polka dots.
Nikki and the Daddy's Home 2 star -- who got engaged at WrestleMania 33 last April -- announced that they were splitting and calling off their wedding in a social media statement on April 15.
“After much contemplation and 6 years of being together Nikki Bella and John Cena announced today their decision to separate as a couple,” read a statement posted on Nikki's Instagram. “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
Earlier this week, a source told ET that the main reason they two stars decided to part was over starting a family.
"Nikki and John truly love each other, but they will never have the same view on a perfect future," the source claims. "Nikki has always dreamt of having a family of her own and John does not want children and that was the main cause of their break up. They are both dedicated to their careers, but Nikki wants more than just that."
