Haley spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, endorsing Trump even though she was the focus of his sharp attacks, calling her “bird brain.” During the primary, Haley had said that Trump was “unhinged,” and predicted Republicans would lose if he was the nominee. After Trump mocked the fact that her husband was not on the campaign trail with her — he actually was on an active duty deployment, Haley said that Trump was “not qualified” to be president because of his disrespect for the military.
