The actress and the former snowboarder went to Montana to continue ringing in White's 38th birthday
Nina Dobrev is continuing Shaun White's birthday celebration with a Western twist!
On Saturday, Sept. 7, the actress posted pictures from her Olympic boyfriend's 38th birthday festivities. "Montana celebrating Shauntana aka @shaunwhite ??," Dobrev, 35, captioned the Instagram post.
She included snaps of coordinated outfits complete with cowboy boots and hats and a chocolate cake, as well as a shot of herself and White kissing by a wooden fence.
White also posted several pictures and videos from the trip on his own Instagram page, featuring lasso-twirling and axe-throwing. "Gone country ??," the gold medalist wrote.
Days before the couple and their friends escaped to Montana, Dobrev posted a sweet birthday tribute for White, filled with silly selfies and date-night moments.
"It’s so hard to go through years of photos and narrow down the ones to post for your birthday," Dobrev wrote on Sept. 3.

"There are too many photos, too many adventures, too much laughter, too many cute moments, too many trips, too many inside jokes, too many memories and of course way too many photos that are too inappropriate to post," she continued.
Dobrev concluded her post: "I love to too much birthday boy ?? @shaunwhite."
The couple first met in late 2012 when they briefly crossed paths at an awards show. Not until 2019 did they officially meet and get to know each other over dinner. White and Dobrev went Instagram official during the COVID-19 pandemic with a hilarious Instagram video, and have been together since.

White's western-themed birthday celebration comes months after Dobrev suffered severe injuries following a dirt bike accident in May. She tore her ACL and her meniscus, and had a fracture in her tibial plateau.
The injuries required surgery, which was successful, followed by extensive physical therapy.
