Nina Dobrev's Dog Shares Patriotic Flair in Adorable July 4th Post
Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev shared an adorable Instagram post featuring her precious pup Maverick for the Fourth Of July, and we can't get enough of seeing the Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix celebrate his independence!

How adorable is this? The post reads, "Paw patrol. Might get a ticket for being this cute. Officer arrest me… Oh wait, it’s a holiday, they’re off duty."
We'd arrest him, for stealing our hearts! Instagram users agree and one person commented, 'This is the cutest!! I can’t wait until you have kids!! They will be spoiled lol. Another added, "Hi Maverick! I hope you enjoyed your 4th of july!! The goodest baby dog!" Someone else replied, "I can’t even take the CUTENESS FACTOR!! You don’t know how happy it made me to see her in her Mom’s vacation pictures!! My eyes went straight to Mrs. Maverick!"

What an adorable dog he is! No word on how Maverick felt about fireworks, but if he's like most dogs they probably aren't his favorite. We can be sure his mama who adores him gave him plenty of cuddles if he was frightened though!

Dobrev is just one of our favorite celebrity dog moms ever, and looking at Maverick's Instagram feed you can just tell how much his mom adores him. From wearing matching outfits to celebrating holidays to traveling all over together, this is one pup who gets all the attention he deserves .
Maverick was adopted in 2017 from The Pet Care Foundation and his introduction post reads, in part, "Hi. My name is Maverick Do(g)brev. I like long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners in doggie bowls. I have a brother named Goose and we're both 9 weeks old. I keep hearing the giants around us say that we're half Border Collie half Aussie Shepard, but I guess we won't know for sure until we get a DNA test. We stayed at this hotel called @the_pet_care_foundation for a little while, and it wasn't too bad, but I'm SO much happier where I am now. I have a yard, and toys, and a new mommy. Don't tell her I said this, but I find it strange she has no fur anywhere except for her head. But she always rubs my tummy and showers me with love, so her lack of hair doesn't bother me too much."
We just love seeing this adorable dog and his gorgeous mama together!
