Astin voiced Special Agent Oso for two seasons. Oso was a cartoon bear who worked for the United Network for Investigating Quite Usual Events (UNIQUE). His "missions" took him all around the world, and on them, he taught kids how to do everyday tasks like cleaning their rooms or how to mail a letter.

3. Stranger Things (2017): Sean Astin movies and TV shows.
Astin might have only been in season 2 (and one episode of season 3) of Stranger Things, but his character, Bob Newby, was unforgettable. Bob was Joyce Byers' boyfriend (Winona Ryder), working at Radioshack and dreaming of becoming "Bob Newby Superhero."
When asked about his time on the show, Astin said, "It was very clear prepping Bob Newby that it was tailor-made for me."
He also spoke very highly of Winona Ryder, saying, "Whenever we were on set together, there was just this warm, good, positive enjoyment of being around each other. And I think it comes through on-screen, too."

Astin plays Mikey, the group's leader. The film was directed by Richard Donner and written by Chris Columbus. Josh Brolin, Ke Huy Quan, Martha Plimpton and many others appear.
