‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Season 2 Adds Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Five Others
Murray Bartlett, Annie Murphy, and “The Good Fight” alum Christine Baranski have signed on to star in Season 2 of Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” as series regulars along with Dolly De Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, King Princess, Aras Aydin and Lucas Englander.
Bartlett (“The Last of Us,” “The White Lotus”) is set to portray Brian; Murphy and Baranski will take on the roles of Imogen and Victoria, respectively. Variety previously reported on Bartlett being in talks to star in June.

De Leon is attached to star as Agnes. Richardson-Sellers will portray Wolfie. Aydin will star as Matteo, and Englander will step into the role of Martin. In her acting debut, musician King Princess will play Tina. Additional character details have yet to be released.
Season 1, which debuted on Hulu in August 2021, followed nine stressed strangers from the city as they venture to a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation in an attempt to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, who also served as an executive producer on the first season.
Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto starred in the first season.
Jonathan Levine directed all eight episodes, serving as executive producer alongside Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Jodi Matterson for Made Up Stories, Nicole Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films, Liane Moriarty, showrunner David E. Kelley, John Henry Butterworth, Molly Allen, Samantha Strauss and Melissa McCarthy. Season one was co-written by Kelley, John Henry Butterworth and Samantha Strauss. Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films, and Fifth Season produced the first season. The series hails from Kelley.
