Netflix will drop all eight episodes of the show on December 12.

The official synopsis read: “When Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul (Romano) decide to move on from their empty nest to forge a new life, they list their gorgeous 1920s Spanish-style villa located in one the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles — and the real estate frenzy begins. Multiple families all race to buy what they believe to be their dream house, convinced it will fix all of their very different problems. But as Lydia and Paul know all too well, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a true nightmare. As they struggle to hide the dark and dangerous secrets that linger inside their longtime home, Paul and Lydia begin to realize that the only way they’ll escape the past is to finally face it.”

Guests stars on the show include Matt Rogers, Rory Scovel, and Linda Lavin. In a Tudum article announcing the show, it was reported that it was inspired by Feldman’s “many late nights during the early pandemic maniacally searching Zillow listings for a way out of my house.”

Character descriptions were also unveiled, with Romano’s reading, “Paul Morgan, a stressed and flat-broke contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts, and escape LA. He thinks selling his beautiful Los Feliz home is the solution to all his and his wife Lydia’s problems, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him.”

Kudrow’s reads, “Paul’s wife, Lydia Morgan, a highly talented (and highly strung) former concert pianist. Lydia is devoted to Paul, and she’s a loving, though flawed, mother to their two children. She is distraught by the idea of selling their Los Feliz home, a place filled with happy memories and dark secrets.”

Feldman serves as creator, executive producer, and showrunner on the series. “You” and “Dead to Me” director Silver Tree will direct the pilot, as well as other episodes, and serves as executive producer.

Ferrell and his production partner Jessica Elbaum produced Feldman’s previous Netflix series “Dead to Me,” which starred “No Good Deed” actress Cardellini. Ferrell’s Gloria Sanchez Productions banner was also behind fellow Netflix films “Will and Harper” and Todd Haynes’ “May December,” plus the Jennifer Lopez-led crime drama “Hustlers” and Olivia Wilde’s “Booksmart.”
