'No longer a lesbian?' Paris Jackson has had enough with online gossip about her love life
Paris Jackson has had it with speculation about her love life.
One of the 20-year-old model-singer’s fans brought a new report to her attention that speculates she is “no longer a lesbian” and is “now dating a black man.” Needless to say, Jackson found the whole thing annoying. “Good example of how people just make things up and don’t check their facts,” she wrote on Instagram. “If after this you guys STILL believe what you read about me, gfy.”
The kicker was that the “black man” is her 32-year-old music-producer cousin Austin Brown, who is the son of Michael Jackson’s sister Rebbie Jackson Brown. They were out the other night together at an Eagles concert. (Cue something about “lyin’ eyes.”)
And Paris wondered why he was being described as a “black man” in the first place. “Who cares??” she asked. Why does that have to be part of the narrative?? A human is a human.”
For what it’s worth, the report originated on zolexreporters.net, which is “home of fact news in Nigeria.” Sounds legit.
Jackson’s love life was in the news last month when, after her ex Cara Delevingne was spotted kissing apparent new love Ashley Benson, she took to social media and wrote, “welp. she makes you happy so … whatever makes you happy…” She later deleted but left up a subsequent tweet that said, “girls smh.”
Much has been made of Paris’s sexuality, but she addressed that in July also on social media. After a fan asked if she was “bi,” she replied on her Instagram Story, “That’s what you guys call it so i guess but who needs labels.” She used a second post to clarify her comments, writing, “I came out when I was 14. … I’ve referred to the community as ‘my fellow LGBTQ+’ on stage before. I’ve talked about having a crush on girls when i was 8 in my Rolling Stone article. There are pictures of me kissing girls online. why are people just now saying this is news?”
