Noah Kahan nabs second Grammys nomination for song with Kelsea Ballerini. See his reaction
Noah Kahan, the musician from Vermont who often sings about his New England roots, has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
The Recording Academy released its nominations for the 67th annual Grammy Awards Friday, and Kahan was recognized for a collaboration with singer Kelsea Ballerini.
It's Kahan's second Grammy nomination — he was up for best new artist last year, but lost to Victoria Monét.
In response to the news, Kahan said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that he hopes to "maybe someday" win a Grammy.
"I’m so grateful for everything these days even just waking up and eating breakfast and driving around fills me," Kahan wrote. "Maybe when that runs out a Grammy will do the trick."
The 27-year-old rose to prominence for his 2022 folk-pop album "Stick Season." Earlier this year, he headlined two sold-out shows at Fenway Park for "The Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever) Tour" and afterward released a "Live from Fenway" album.
