Normani got chic in slingback pumps while attending the Fendi fashion show during their Milan Womenswear Spring 2025 presentation on Tuesday afternoon.
The singer was seen sitting in the front row wearing a pair of pointed-toe pumps that were likely from Fendi. Constructed with patent leather material, the shoes featured a slingback strap with an elastic insert alongside a leather lining and outsole. The upper region of the shoe consisted of a sharp, triangular design typical of pointed pump silhouettes. A tan colorway completed the model, which was rounded out by a sharp stiletto heel measuring slightly over 4-inches, which is in-line with what the singer prefers wearing for upscale events and occasions.
As for her ensemble, Normani wore a sleek suede minidress likely from the brand that featured sharp lines and tailored structuring around the shoulders. Wearing her hair in a sleek bun, she accessorized her look with a silver pair of cat-eye sunglasses. The singer also sported the brand’s new Peekaboo Soft bag, which is now reimagined in a soft version. The natural and sensual touch of the leather is further enhanced by the reconfigured wearability of the bag. In fact, a new fixed yet adjustable elongated handle allows to effortlessly wear the bag on the shoulder and carry it close to the body
While the style has experienced some updates over the decades, pointed-toe pumps are a classic model that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion, with the silhouette being praised for its versatility and ease of styling.
Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, the popularity of the slim stiletto heel started re-emerging again at the start of the 2020s. Many brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season.
The Fifth Harmony alum attended various events and shows at London Fashion Week, wearing Uggs, Burberry, and more, before jetting off to Milan.
Normani, herself, is a fan of many pointed pump styles, having worn them frequently throughout the years. This past January she was spotted at the premiere of “Freaky Tales” during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah in a pair of furry Christian Louboutin pumps set on a soaring stiletto heel measuring nearly 6 inches for the occasion. The platform slingback style featuring a black leather upper and a peep toe topped with fur is only available to buy via resale sites like The Luxury Closet and TheRealReal. She paired her outfit with a chic set courtesy of Area.
