You Can Now Buy 'Gender Reveal Lasagna' Which Contains Either Blue or Pink Dyed Cheese
Parents-to-be who prefer savory foods to sweets now have an interesting option for the reveal of their baby’s biological sex.
In a press release on Tuesday, nationwide chain Villa Italian Kitchen announced it’s introducing the “world’s first-ever Gender Reveal Lasagna.” They claim to be made to order with noodles imported from Italy, a classic Alfredo sauce, ricotta and mozzarella.
Available now, customers can buy the cheesy pasta dish — with a secret pink or blue interior — along with a tray of garlic rolls and a choice of either a garden, Caesar or Greek salad for $139.99. The platter feeds 12.
To place an order, call 1-855-VILLA FIK (845-5234), visit the Villa Italian Kitchen website or email its catering department, [email protected]. Customers who share their purchase online with the hashtag #LasagnaReveal will be entered to win a quarterly giveaway of a week’s worth of meals — ideal for new parents returning from the hospital.

“Creating the Gender Reveal Lasagna was so much fun,” said Stephanie Beamer, Division Vice President of Franchise and Catering, Villa Restaurant Group, in the release. “We think of our guests like family, and wanted to find a way to celebrate such a momentous occasion with them. We can’t wait to see all the videos of guests revealing their babies’ genders to family and friends in such a unique way.”
