Ndefo appeared as Bodie Wells, the boyfriend of Bess Potter (played by Nina Repeta), from 1998-2002 in The WB’s Dawson’s Creek. Ndefo also played Rak’nor in Stargate SG-1, appearing between 2000 and 2005. He later detailed the accident in an interview with the LA Times, where he shared a positive outlook: “This is just so horrendous what happened to me, why would I compound this by feeling bad about it?”
Dawson Creek’s Mary-Margaret Humes remembered her late co-star on Instagram Sunday, calling Ndefo “a bright shining light.” She continued, “What an example of pure unfiltered love and tenacity you set as you faced life’s challenges of recent. I will cherish all of our messages of love and support to each other over the past few years. Rest in peace sweet warrior.”
Katie Holmes, who played Joey Potter in the teen drama, posted Humes’ tribute to her story, adding, “He was wonderful to work with and such a kind man. I send prayers and grace to his family. Rest in Peace.”
