Ocean City's BikeFest announces big classic rock double bill for fourth day. All to know.

Get ready for a rock 'n' roll festival like no other when music legends Tesla, Ted Nugent and the recently announced double bill of Cheap Trick and Styx take the stage at the 2024 OC BikeFest this fall.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming motorcycle-centered event, including which beloved rock bands will be taking the stage, when and where the festival is being held and more.

When and where is OC Bikefest?

OC BikeFest Thursdsay, Sept. 14, 2023, at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland.

From Sept. 11-15, 2024, OC BikeFest attendees will gather together along Coastal Highway to indulge in all things motorcycles and rock 'n' roll.

The five-day event will take place at the Ocean City Inlet and Roland E. Powell Convention Center, and feature a daily Boardwalk Motorcycle Parade.

OC BikeFest announces big double bill: Cheap Trick and Styx

Buckcherry, the five-piece, hard-rock, California-based band formed in 1995 and led by tattooed frontman Josh Todd, is set to kick things off at Bikefest on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Next up, American rock band Tesla — led by lead vocalist Jeff Keith — is set to rock the Inlet Main Stage with American guitarist, singer, songwriter and political activist Ted Nugent on Friday, Sept. 13.

Then, get ready, because legendary rock bands Styx and Cheap Trick — both formed in the 1970s — are set to perform together on the Inlet Main Stage on Saturday, Sept. 14.

"Don’t miss this incredible night of music on the Inlet MainStage," the festival said of its newly announced headliners, Styx and Cheap Trick, in a May 17 Facebook post.

VIP and general admission tickets are now available online.

A rich history of rock at OC BikeFest

Rock 'n' roll has always been a big part of OC BikeFest, with big names strolling into the popular resort town destination and rocking the stage year after year.

In 2023, the music lineup included Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Shinedown and more. In 2022, the lineup featured the Zac Brown Band, Disturbed and Godsmack, while 2021's lineup included George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, Bret Michaels and Kid Rock.
