It's official! Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson cement relationship on Instagram.
Haters, step aside: Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are Instagram official. The Saturday Night Live star shared a photo with his new girlfriend on Wednesday, making their social media debut. Perhaps this relationship is a match made in heaven, because it looks like they are both Harry Potter fans.
Fun fact: The Weeknd and Bella Hadid both liked the photo … perhaps a double date is on the horizon? Grande also endorsed it as the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer commented, “u tryna slytherin (I’m deleting my account now).”
It was revealed last week that Davidson and Grande, both 24, were a thing, and they exchanged flirty Instagram comments after news broke. Both recently ended relationships and have clapped back at those weighing in on their new one.
Grande sent a heated response to a fan who criticized her for breaking up with Mac Miller. (Shortly after their split, the rapper was arrested for drunken driving, with a blood alcohol content of almost twice the legal limit.)
Last year, Davidson revealed he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and he recently fired back at those saying he shouldn’t be in a relationship with anyone — including the pop star.
“Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause like f*** you,” he began. “But I’ve been hearing a lot of ‘people with BDP can’t be in relationships’ talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship.”
“It also doesn’t mean that person makes the relationship toxic,” he continued. “Everybody is different, and there are a lot of treatments for mental illnesses, and I have done/am doing all of them. And I encourage those who struggle to seek help as well; it has changed my life for the better.”
Davidson recently split with girlfriend Cazzie David.
Grande and the comedian reportedly started seeing each other casually, but it looks like it’s going the way of serious. They spent Memorial Day weekend together and were at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
But there appears to be one big problem: Davidson is a Gryffindor and Grande is a Slytherin.
We hope these two Potterheads can work it out.
