Oh, Paw-lease, Meow Madness Is Way Better Than March Madness!

It was Meow Madness on the Hallmark Channel, and it was the purrfect choice for anyone who prefers adorable cats over sweaty humans. Announcers Mary Carillo and John Salley kept the cat puns running on all fours throughout the two-hour experience, and the elite schools that pawed it out were the Cinci-catty Wildcats, the Fish-igan Catfish, the North Cat-alina Micemen, and the Wis-cat-son Panthers. The halftime show really pupped up the volume with puppy cheerleaders who surprised the audience with a puppy ball pit. Carillo asked, “What more could you ask for?”

This tournament was also pretty paw-some for some great entertainment outside of the main event, including a kitten collar cam, a hiss-cam, and a rare appearance by the Harlem Globe Scratchers.

Celebrities Vanna White, Moby, Sadie Robertson, and Rachael Ray made appearances to purrsuade us to adopt these cat-thletes through the North Shore Animal League, making this whole tournament a very paw-sitive experience.
