Olga Kurylenko Horror Thriller ‘O.T.H.E.R’ Acquired By Voltage Pictures – AFM
EXCLUSIVE: Voltage Pictures has acquired global rights to the horror thriller O.T.H.E.R, starring Olga Kurylenko.
The feature written and directed by David Moreau follows Alice (Kurylenko), who reluctantly returns to her childhood home after the sudden death of her estranged mother, only to discover the house — eerily frozen in time — hides a sinister secret: a high-tech surveillance system tracks her every move as a dark presence lurks in the shadows, driving her toward a terrifying revelation.

Voltage will officially launch global sales for the film at the American Film Market in November in Las Vegas. Wild Bunch is set to release the film in France in 2025.
Currently in post-production, O.T.H.E.R. is produced by Radar Films’ Clément Miserez and Matthieu Warter (Faster, Belle and Sebastian, Friends for Life, School of Life). UMedia’s Bastien Sirodot (Guns Akimbo, The Artist) and Cloé Garbay are associate producers.
The supporting cast includes Jean Schatz (Champ Libre).
Moreau’s original screenplay was adapted into English by Jon Goldman, whose past screenwriting credits include The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, and producing credits include Under the Tuscan Sun and the upcoming Girl in a Cloud.
Miserez said “From day one with David Moreau, we wanted to scare the audience. Now, we’re the ones who are scared.”
Nicolas Chartier, CEO of Voltage Pictures, added, “We are thrilled to bring O.T.H.E.R to a global audience. This film offers edge-of-your-seat suspense and profound emotional depth, making it a perfect addition to our slate.”
Voltage recently teamed with Radar Films on the acquisition of worldwide sales rights for the latter’s F1 racing drama Faster (also known as Rapide). The movie is directed by Morgan S. Dalibert and stars Paola Locatelli and Alban Lenoir.
Kurylenko starred opposite Tom Cruise in the sci-fi movie Oblivion, as well as the 007 title Quantum of Solace, in addition to Black Widow and Terrence Malick’s To the Wonder.
Moreau directed The Eye, Them, King, and MadS, the latter currently in release via Shudder. He is repped by UBBA and The Gotham Group. Kurylenko is repped by Independent Talent Group, Untitled Entertainment and Agence Adequat.
