Olympian Jordan Chiles Goes Shirtless In Metallic Suit and Pointed Pumps at 2024 GQ Men of the Year Party
More from Footwear News
Jordan Chiles swapped her Jordans for pumps while attending the 2024 GQ Men of the Year party at Bar Marmont on Thursday night.
Wearing a risque suit with no shirt look, the pumps were constructed in patent leather material and dramatized by their extended pointed design. Also featuring a closed-back design that held her feet in place, the shoes were completed with a stiletto heel that measured between 4-to-5 inches in height, which Chiles is known for when going for the pump look.
The pumps were a compliment to her eye-catching silver suit, which was characterized by its scrunchy design. Her matching high-waisted trousers were also detailed with a scrunchy Y2K-like construction, with the athlete accessorizing her look with a diamond necklace and matching bracelet. Silver hoops brought attention to her long dark locks and futuristic makeup look, which did not go with the night’s western theme but suited her well.
When the Olympian isn’t wearing pumps and stilettos, you can typically find her chilling in Nike’s. Over the summer, she was spotted in a pair of white Nike Shox R4 sneakers while attending the 2024 US Open in Queens, New York. The sneakers featured a large swoop intertwined with N for Nike on the body in addition to a Niki logo on the arm.
Crafted in white and boasting metallic detailing up the sides, the upper included mesh making the style quite light as well as breathable. The Nike Shox R4 also includes spring-like pillars, and was the first style to do so when it was released in 2000. These have a functional aspect of helping to absorb impact.
A few days later, Chiles was seen throwing the first pitch at Citi Field as the New York Mets hosted the Cincinnati Reds, choosing a pair of unseen Nike’s for the occasion. The Nike Air Max sneakers featured a black mesh base with large synthetic silver overlays and three oval pods near the front. Rounding out the design was a large visible Air Max bubble that could be seen on the heel and a new Air Max logo on the tongue.
