One of Jennifer Lopez’s Ex-Husbands Just Gave Her Unsolicited Dating Advice: 'Stay Single'
While we have no idea what’s going on between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, we do know that Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, is still bringing his two cents to everything his ex-wife does. In fact, he recently just talked about Bennifer 2.0, and actually spoke in support of Affleck, specifically his controversial red carpet demeanor. And then gave Lopez dating advice.
In a recent interview with DailyMail, Noa talked about how he understood Affleck as an ex-husband to Lopez, and how he also hated red carpet events.

“I could understand Ben. We would both try to get her -confidence a little bit higher. “But she’s had four good -husbands and she’s been loved before,” Noa said. “So, I don’t know how much love she needs or how much love she’s still looking for.”
Um, what?
He then went on to talk about how, on the red carpet, Affleck normally looks “like he wants to break someone’s head off.”
“I could see myself doing that too,” he said to the outlet. “I can tell you in my own -experience, we would have -disagreements in the car and then 20 minutes later, we’d have to sit and pretend everything was fine. But you can only pretend so much. When we were going through h–l and going out as a couple, I was in a bad mood too. Because I knew inside we were not good. I hated going on the red -carpet. She would try and get me to come and I’d say: ‘No way. I’m not going to pretend.'”
Then, he had the gumption to give relationship advice to Lopez, but ended it on a sweeter note.
“Stay single for a while, take 12 months off. If she meets someone new, maybe keep it private and not get -married again. She has an amazing career and she’s a hard-working, beautiful woman, but when you’re with someone, you have to spend quality time with them and not think about being on camera,” he said. “I would just say to Jen: you need to be yourself so you can find yourself. There are no bad feelings at all. I would always be her friend. I sympathize with both of them because divorce is hard.”
For those who don’t know, Noa is Lopez’s first husband, as we said before. They were together from Feb 1997 to Jan 1998, but the drama keeps going with them because Noa continues to drag Lopez through the mud. Noa has tried to release honeymoon footage of theirs and make a tell-all, but Lopez has blocked it every time, per MTV.
Along with that, he’s often given his two cents about her new romances, despite their relationship ending over 20 years ago. Back in 2022, he told the Daily Mail that he didn’t think her and Affleck’s marriage would last, more or less.
“I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last. Jen loves being in love, but she’s been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four,” he said. “I was husband number one, and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.’ We fell in love when she was already famous. But during our marriage, she became a megastar. For years, it was too painful to talk about. I wanted to lie low and live my life. But when I saw she got married to Ben, who is a good guy, the feelings came flooding back.”
