‘One Piece’ Taps Joe Manganiello As Mr. 0, Finds Its Miss All Sunday & Teases Chopper Character For Season 2
One Piece has added Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike franchise) and Lera Abova (Bumper in Berlin, Honey Don’t) to the Season 2 cast. Manganiello will play “Mr. 0” and Abova will portray “Miss All Sunday.” The announcement was made during the Netflix Geeked Week Live show Thursday. The show also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the first table read of Season 2, which teased that popular character Chopper will appear in the new season. (You can watch it below.)
Manganiello, who hosted Geeked Week, and Abova were on hand at the event, along with returning star Jeff Ward (Buggy) who welcomed them “on behalf of the Season 1 villains.”

“To be trusted with one of the greatest characters ever in manga and fantasy; I’ve been waiting for a character like this my entire career,” Manganiello said on stage.

Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
One Piece follows the otherworldly adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (I?aki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore exotic islands and endless oceans in search for the ultimate treasure “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.
The series is done in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner, and Netflix. Season 2 executive producers include showrunners Matt Owens & Joe Tracz, Oda, Adelstein and Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes and Steve Maeda.
Season 2 is currently in production in Cape Town, South Africa.
