'We are open!': Rosco's Burger Inn reopens after being closed due to kitchen fire
Rosco's Burger Inn is open again.
Owners of the 69-year-old Central El Paso restaurant, at 3829 Tompkins Road, announced on its Facebook page Tuesday afternoon the happy news with three words, "we are open!!!!!!!"
The iconic burger joint had to close in May of 2023 due to a kitchen fire. No one was hurt in the fire.
The restaurant opened in 1955 and is now run by a third-generation owner, Jacob Carrasco.

Are you ready to go back to Rosco's? Patrons on their Facebook page seemed pleased to hear the news. More than 100 congratulatory comments came in within the first two hours of the posting.
