Who is opening for Morgan Wallen at Neyland Stadium? Here are collaborators joining him

Morgan Wallen's two concerts at Neyland Stadium are drawing fans from all over for the uniqueness of the venue ? the legendary home of the Tennessee Volunteers football in Wallen's hometown ? and for the amazing opening acts.

ERNEST and HARDY will perform before Wallen on Sept. 20 and 22 in Knoxville.

"40 minutes of my traditional sounds, HARDY doing an hour-long rock and roll show, then 90 minutes of the Morgan Wallen effect — and all of that as defined under the banner of country music," ERNEST told USA TODAY Network-Tennessee.

All three artists have collaborated with Post Malone on his new country album. Anyone want to bet on the chances he'll pop onstage, too?

All of the artists are having one heck of a chart-topping summer. Here's more on the Wallen openers.

HARDY opening for Morgan Wallen in Knoxville

HARDY released the album "Quit!!" this summer.

Born Michael Hardy, he's a graduate of Neshoba Central High School in Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Middle Tennessee State University.

The Tennessean called him one of Nashville's busiest songwriters, well on his way to accumulating three-dozen No. 1 hits as either a singer or songwriter by age 40.

He and Post Malone just collaborated on the murder ballad "Hide My Gun."

ERNEST is on the Wallen lineup, too

Nashville native ERNEST is making waves with his Wallen collaboration: a No. 1 song "Cowgirls." And ERNEST is a songwriting collaborator with Post Malone on 14 songs on "F-1 Trillion," plus as a vocalist on "Devil I've Been."

ERNEST's take on country music is totally different with classic influences like George Jones and Merle Haggard blended with a love of 1990s R&B.

The Tennessean said he's had a "wild career cycle" touring the world while achieving 11 No. 1 hits. He's on the road this summer touring with Brooks & Dunn.

Will Post Malone play with Morgan Wallen at Neyland Stadium?

Post Malone isn't listed on the Morgan Wallen preview as a performer, but the speculation is out there. "I Had Some Help" is a summer smash.

Post Malone's schedule clashes in a way that makes a cameo impossible, except for the Sunday show. He's scheduled to perform Sept. 20 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Sept. 21 in Hartford, Connecticut, and Sept. 23 in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Doors open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. VIP packages and obstructed view tickets, plus resale options, are available.
