Oprah Winfrey was photographed in a pair of beige and gray sneakers before switching to brown pointed-toe pumps for an appearance on “Good Morning America” in New York City.

The media maven arrived at the morning show’s studio wearing a plum color turtleneck with mustard cargo pants and a pair of beige and gray sneakers, that looked similar to New Balance’s 574 style or Reebok’s Classic Leather Legacy. Winfrey’s sneakers featured a small platform sole, that could provide a bit of height and comfort.

The sneaker featured a mix of neutral tones, including tan soles, and white and gray midsoles with tan uppers. A classic gum rippled outsole, a heel stability unit and a sleek forefoot with white laces.

The former talk show host then opted for a pair of heels that featured a reddish brown colorway and a closed-back design that locked her in feet in place as she walked around the city. While the back of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, it’s likely the set was completed by a stiletto heel ranging between 3-to-4 inches in height. Winfrey paired her pumps with a pair of brown cargo dress pants and a purple long sleeve top.

Many brands such as Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season, which can be found within their many collections over the course of the year. Regarded for their comfort and versatility in-terms of blending together elements of modern and classic fashion elements. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Princess Beatrice, Doja Cat and plenty of others are some of the few who have been spotted wearing pointed-toe pumps this year, as the popular model has experienced some updates over the decades.

Winfrey was last spotted in New York City in late August after making an appearance on day three of the Democratic National Convention held in Chicago. For the outing, she was seen in a pair of canvas sneakers that featured a mix of leather and canvas uppers in neutral shades of white and khaki that transitioned into coordinating white lace-up closures and eye-catching sparkling silver-capped toes.

Earlier this year at the 2024 Golden Globes, she sported a pair of purple satin Manolo Blahnik pumps that included pointed closed toes within its D’Orsay silhouette. While the pumps were hidden beneath her dress, the set’s original shape traditionally includes closed counters with thin heels to create a cutout appearance.
