Oprah Winfrey Plays With Texture in Silver Metallics and Chocolate Helsa Bodysuit at Power of the Dream Celebration
Oprah Winfrey attended the 23rd annual Power of a Dream celebration at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., wearing a metallic ensemble that played with texture and tone. She was honored during the event with the Legacy Award.
She wore a silver metallic jacket with a matching full-length pleated skirt. To complement the metallics, she selected the Edita Turtleneck Bodysuit by Helsa in chocolate brown. The deep brown hue of the long-sleeve bodysuit reflected off the metallic elements, creating a shifting silver-to-bronze effect under the camera flashes.

Winfrey completed the look with pointed-toe pumps in the same shade as her bodysuit and understated drop earrings. For glam, Oprah wore her wavy hair down, opting for a smoky eye and a muted red lip.
Winfrey has recently opted for metallic attire when attending red carpet events. She wore a shimmering bronze ensemble from Brunello Cucinelli while attending the after party for “Coriolanus,” held at the National Theatre in London in September. For the premiere of “Exhibiting Forgiveness” earlier that month, she opted for a light gray suit, paired with silver Brunello Cucinelli metallic leather flats.
The U.S. Dream Academy is an organization dedicated to empowering children in under-resourced communities, focusing on providing mentorship, academic support and exposure to the arts, helping students reach their fullest potential and break the cycle of poverty.
