‘The Other Black Girl’ Trailer: The Terrifying Side Of Corporate Racism Unfolds In Hulu Series Starring Ashleigh Murray And Sinclair Daniel
The new trailer for Hulu‘s The Other Black Girl puts a horror spin on racism and discrimination in the workplace.
The Rashida Jones-produced series comes from Onyx Collective and is based on Zakiya Dalila Harris‘ best-selling novel about a Black woman, who is the only one of her kind at her office, suddenly becomes one of two. But after the new Black woman comes to the office, things start to shift towards the bizarre. According to the official description:
Nella, an editorial assistant, is tired of being the only Black girl at her company, so she’s excited when Hazel is hired. But as Hazel’s star begins to rise, Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company.
The series stars Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Brittany Adebumola, Hunter Parrish, Bellamy Young, Eric McCormack, and Garcelle Beauvais. Along with Jones, the series is also executive produced by Harris, Adam Fishbach, Jordan Reddout, Gus Hickey, Tara Duncan and Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfry and Marty Bowen. Reddout and Hickey are also co-showrunners.
