Ozuna has proven himself a force in the music industry.
The superstar reggaeton and Latin trap singer, whose full name is Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, has already set a record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin albums chart by a male artist with his 2017 debut album “Odisea." His newest album, “Nibiru," released Nov. 29, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Latin albums chart.

He was blackmailed earlier this year
Ozuna's 2019 got off to a rocky start.
In January, the singer revealed he was extorted with an explicit video filmed when he was 16.
“Like many young people, I made a mistake driven by ignorance," Ozuna said in a statement about the extortion, according to People and Rolling Stone. "Today, I not only regret what happened, but I condemn it.”
Ozuna added he's "certain everything will be cleared" and is working with authorities.
“More importantly, I ask my family for forgiveness,” he continued. “They are my life’s priority and I will continue to fight for them always.”
In an interview with the Associated Press, the musician told those facing similar challenges to "keep going forward."
“Those are special situations, everyone comes here to learn something, surely they will learn from those situations," he said. "It’s just going to be an experience.”
He 'would never sing something offensive'
He may be a music star, but Ozuna is first and foremost a family man.
In an interview with Billboard during a live Facebook Q&A in 2017, Ozuna revealed he keeps his family in mind when he writes songs, opting for more respectful lyrics.
"I sing what society lives in general," he said. “I have a daughter, I have a wife, and I would never sing something offensive to others – or specifically to offend any women."
He loves rock music
Ozuna found success in reggaeton and trap music, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate other genres.
“I love the style of rock. I love the electric guitar,” Ozuna told the Associated Press.
He demonstrated his affection in his new album, which includes a track called “Temporal," featuring Willy of the Puerto Rican rock band Cultura Profética.
Ozuna's new album features collaborations with artists such as Diddy, DJ Snake and Snoop Dogg. One song, called “Hasta Que Salga el Sol,” was made “for the disco and the party," he said.
“It’s a great song with great energy,” he added. “If you wake up with a song like this, you got to cheer up that day.”
