Pamela Anderson Embraces the Monochromatic Trend at ‘The Last Showgirl’ Event
Pamela Anderson has been favoring minimal looks throughout her press tour behind “The Last Showgirl,” and her latest appearance was a continuation of the pared-down style she’s come to embrace.
Anderson opted for a soft take on the monochromatic trend that’s been so popular on the red carpet this year, and the monochromatic white trend that swept the runway for spring 2024 at shows belonging to Chloé, Gucci, and Carven — to name a few. Anderson wore a look from Lafayette 148 New York’s resort 2025 collection, consisting of the brand’s fine spun ribbed long cardigan, hand-beaded Georgette pleated blouse, and hand-beaded Georgette pleated midi skirt. Anderson styled the look for Deadline’s 2024 Contenders Film: Los Angeles event — which also brought out Lupita Nyong’o, Tilda Swinton, Julianne Moore, Saoirse Ronan, Ryan Destiny, Mikey Madison, and more — with a pair of nude pointed-toe pumps.

The look is a continuation of one Anderson wore on Tuesday, Nov. 12 while attending a conversation for “The Last Showgirl” alongside the film’s director, Gia Coppola, for a joint conversation at 92NY in New York City. For the event, Anderson wore a cream high-waisted pencil skirt and a matching button-up shirt with pointed-toe neutral pumps.
Anderson also wore a monochromatic white look while promoting “The Last Showgirl” at the 2024 Zurich Film Festival. The actress donned an all-white ensemble from Oscar de la Renta‘s pre-spring 2025 collection consisting of a fuzzy draped one-shoulder top and matching pleated wide-leg trousers that she paired with brown Christian Louboutin heels.
Coppola spoke to WWD back in September about casting Anderson in “The Last Showgirl,” saying, “I’m so happy for Pamela, because I feel like she really deserves it. She’s such a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out. And, you know, I saw her documentary, and that really proved to me that she was the only person that could play this character.”
“And I’m just so happy that she is getting to prove and show off her talents that were always within her, that I think the media always kind of diminished,” Coppola added.
“The Last Showgirl” has a cast that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Brenda Song, Dave Bautista, Kiernan Shipka and Jason Schwartzman. The film hits theaters Jan. 10.
