Pamela Anderson attended Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards on Oct. 1 in London wearing beige patent leather Manolo Blahnik pumps with an elegant dress from Oscar de la Renta.
Anderson stuck to the classics for the event on Tuesday, where she was honored as Woman of the Year by the publication. Her Oscar de la Renta dress featured a fold-over off-the-shoulder neckline which had a gentle curve to it.
The wool dress was fitted around the bodice and flowed into a midi pencil skirt with a slit around the knee. A velvet ribbon adorned the waist, offering a subtle difference in materiality. From the brand’s fall 2024 collection, the dress retails for $4,290 from Saks Fifth Avenue.
Anderson appeared to be wearing Manolo Blahnik’s Camparinew patent leather pumps, which are crafted in Italy from calf leather and feature a grosgain trim.
The neutral-hued shoes stood out with a glossy finish and a Mary Jane strap across the foot fastened with a button; they otherwise fell into the classic pump category with a sharply pointed toe, arched sole and narrow stiletto heel. Manolo Blahnik currently sets the shoes at a price point of $825 and also offers them in black.
Anderson has been selecting a number of sophisticated outfits lately to promote her upcoming film “The Last Showgirl,” which is about a Las Vegas dancer reaching the end of her career. Recently appearing at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain, Anderson wore a floor-length baby pink dress from Elie Saab with an elegant cape feature, pairing this look with brown suede Jimmy Choo “Love 100” pumps, that are currently available for $795. Attending the Toronto International Film Festival in early September, she opted for black pumps to match an all-black suit.
The “Baywatch” alum has been sporting a new look as of late, opting for more of a minimal glam or going completely makeup-free on red carpets and has also taken a more timeless approach when it comes to her style. The decision to town down her makeup came about her her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer. “Since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” Anderson said in an interview at the time
“I’ve just done it and I’ve played with it,” she told Glamour in a recent interview where she spoke about being in her 50s. “I’ve nothing against makeup, but I felt like it just looked better on me in my 20s than it did now.”
“Am I going to chase youth? Am I going to be miserable? Or am I going to be self-accepting?” she added. “And it’s a practice.”
