Silberman has been one of the go-to scribes when it comes to original stories going back to her work on the Netflix hit Set It Up, starring Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell. She would go on to pen the comedy Isn’t It Romantic and got her big break on with her acclaimed work on Booksmart, which earned her a WGA nomination for best original screenplay and a Spirit win for best first original screenplay.
Most recently, she wrote and produced the New Line/WB psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine and Gemma Chan. The film debuted at the Venice Film Festival and opened at No. 1 at the U.S. box office, going on to earn nearly $90M worldwide.
For Maximum Effort, it continues to build on the strong relationship with the studio, which it has a first-look deal with. Additional projects they have in development include Boy Band, Starter Villain, Eloise and Gaslight Express.
Entertainment 360 most recently produced The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
