Parker McCollum to host ACM Lifting Lives benefit concert during ACM Awards week
A year following releasing his top-ten-charting fourth country album "Never Enough," during the week surrounding 2023's Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, Texas native Parker McCollum will spend a night during 2024's ACM Awards week festivities at Topgolf The Colony on May 15, hosting the ACM Lifting Lives LIVE charity concert.
Artists scheduled to perform will be announced soon.
General Admission tickets will be available to ACM Members, ACM A-List subscribers, 59th ACM Awards ticket holders, and Topgolf Friends and Family through an exclusive presale starting March 21 at 10 a.m. CT.
The remaining tickets will be on sale for the general public at ACMLiftingLives.org/concert, beginning Friday (3.22) at 10 a.m. CT. The concert will start at approximately 7:45 p.m. CT.
2023's concert featured HARDY, Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman performing to a sold-out crowd on the green at Topgolf The Colony, marking the organization's most successful fundraising event.
"I am truly honored that ACM Lifting Lives has given me the opportunity to host the Parker McCollum & Friends: ACM Lifting Lives event this year at Topgolf in The Colony, TX," McCollum offered in a press statement.
"The work they do to improve lives through the power of music and the funds they raise are vital to helping folks in and out of our country music community. I can't wait to have some of my really talented friends join me for a great night supporting the mission of ACM Lifting Lives and helping them continue their incredible work."
ACM Lifting Lives LIVE raises money and awareness for ACM Lifting Lives, an organization specifically focused on health-related initiatives that use music therapy to heal. These include the ACM Lifting Lives Autism Lab at Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and their annual Music Camp, plus grants offered through The Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, given to individuals who face unexpected emergencies or hardships.
The Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards will return for its 59th ceremony on Thursday, May 16. For the second year in a row, the show will stream live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
The ACM Awards will stream via Prime Video through a partnership that will extend to the show's 60th anniversary next year.
"Frisco, Texas and The Star District proved to be the perfect new home for the evolution of this Emmy-nominated 'party' bringing music's biggest global superstars to the passionate and loyal Texas country music fans," said Damon Whiteside, ACM's CEO.
Information about this year's hosts, nominations, or performers has yet to be announced.
The tickets for this year's awards show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on March 8 at seatgeek.com. Presale will begin on March 6 through ACM A-List.
