Benatar and Giraldo met in 1979, with his guitar playing decorating her discography. By the time they married in 1982, they had already released three albums which would be certified Platinum, raking in two Grammy wins in the process — Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female for 1980’s “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” and the same award for “Fire and Ice” the following year.
Up next, Benatar and Giraldo will continue their 2024 tour with shows in Nevada, California, Washington, and more. Grab tickets here.
