Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid ensured Taylor Swift's spirit was present at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl ring ceremony, even though she was on the other side of the world.
The quarterback, 28, and head coach, 66, referenced the pop star, 34, who is currently fulfilling the international dates of her Eras Tour, by wearing friendship bracelets to the Thursday, June 13, event celebrating the team's Super Bowl LVIII victory.
Mahomes colorful bracelet said "PM <3 BM," which was a nod to his wife, Brittany Mahomes. The athlete paired the look with a tailored black suit with gem-like accents, layered chains, and black sunglasses.
Brittany, 28, wore a red, off-the-shoulder fringe dress with matching heels and star-shaped earrings. Stylist Venetia Kidd, who worked on Swift’s Eras Tour, put together the look.
Reid wore a friendship bracelet bearing red and yellow beads, and the word "coach," which was presented to him by influencer Taylen Biggs. The accessory complemented his classic black suit on top of a white collared shirt and red tie. "Coach with my Bracelet and his Ring Bling," Biggs captioned an Instagram Story, adding a picture of Reid at the event.
Although Swift was not in attendance, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, made sure he was dressed to impress. He wore a red corduroy suit from the brand Zegna paired with white Christian Louboutin Louis Junior sneakers.
Swift showed her support by tuning into Chariah Gordon’s Instagram Live of the event. The singer left various comments, including one dedicated to Gordon's boyfriend, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, that read, "AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE," referencing his new contract.
It's no surprise that Mahomes and Reid proudly wore friendship bracelets to the events, as they've both voiced their support for the Grammy-winning musician.
"I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long," Mahomes told TIME in April. "She's never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks."
"Even when she’s talking about football, when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together," he continued. "It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. 'Why can’t you try this, this, and this?' She’s asking the right question."

While speaking with PEOPLE in December after a game, Reid said of Swift, "Listen, I'm a big fan, so I'm glad she was here, and I hope she enjoyed it. She's got a great guy she's dating right now, so I'm happy for both of them."
