‘Patrick Star Show’ Renewed for Seasons 4 & 5 at Nickelodeon
“The Patrick Star Show” has been renewed for Season 4 and Season 5 at Nickelodeon.
The announcement was made as part of the “SpongeBob SquarePants” 25th anniversary panel at New York Comic-Con on Friday. Both of the new seasons will consist of 13 episodes. Season 3 of the animated series debuted in July 2024.

“The Patrick Star Show” serves as a spinoff to “SpongeBob,” and follows “Patrick and the rest of his family as they are constantly disrupted by his wild whims and surreal imagination.” Bill Fagerbakke voices Patrick as he does in the mothership series. Additional voice cast members include Tom Wilson, Cree Summer, Jill Talley, Dana Snyder, and Dee Bradley Baker. Multiple “SpongeBob” voice actors also appear as their characters from that show in guest roles, including Tom Kenny, who also voices the Star family’s pet sea urchin Ouchie.
The panel also revealed a first look at the upcoming episode “Thanks But No Thanksgiving,” in which Patrick’s family celebrates Thanksgiving with his mother’s side of the family. The clip can be seen below.
The panel consisted of Kenny (SpongeBob), Fagerbakke (Patrick), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), along with executive producers Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller. It was moderated by Matt Forte.
A special first look at the upcoming 25th anniversary stop motion special “SpongeBob & Sandy’s Country Christmas” also played at the panel and can be seen below.
In the half-hour special, “when one of Sandy’s experiments goes awry, the Cheeks family team up to save Christmas in Bikini Bottom.” Craig Robinson stars as Pa Cheeks, Johnny Knoxville as Randy Cheeks, and Grey Delisle as Ma Cheeks, Granny Cheeks, Rosie ,and Rowdy, with all three reprising their roles from the movie “Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.”
“SpongeBob SquarePants” originally launched on Nickelodeon in 1999. Created by Stephen Hillenburg, the series has proven to be one of the most popular shows in Nickelodeon history.
