It's amazing what a mustache can do.

Patrick Warburton's turning heads after he made a rare television appearance on a trip down under, showing off his impressively manicured mustache and looking like a whole new man.

The actor, who appeared in a handful of episodes of Seinfeld as Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character's on-and-off boyfriend David Puddy, starred as Lemony Snicket in Netflix's adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, and is well known for voicing Joe in Family Guy and Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove, was a guest on Australia's version of Today on Friday, July 12, as detailed by the Daily Mail, and his drastic transformation—which he first debuted at PaleyFest in April—is giving Tom Selleck far more than it's giving himself!

The 59-year-old revealed during his sitdown that he landed the guest spot, which was intended to be a one-time appearance, after "religiously" watching the sitcom with his wife.

He recalled looking over to her one night and wondering, "Why can't I get on this show?" and within two weeks he was reading for Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, who liked his performance so much they wanted to bring him back.

Unfortunately, due to a conflict with a role on another network, he wasn't able to become a regular.

"They asked me about availability and I couldn't do it because I was on a CBS show at the time and they wouldn't let me do a show on another network," he explained. "That was frustrating."

But after its cancellation, he "came back on the ninth and final season," where his character and Elaine broke up over and over again.
