Penélope Cruz Can't Get Enough Dubsmash on 'Tonight Show'
Movie star Penélope Cruz loves dubsmash. And when she visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in February, she had such a great time playing with it that when she visited Thursday it was all she wanted to do.
In February, it was mostly dubsmashing songs, particularly the Frozen duet she sang with Fallon. But this time on the show they dubbed popular television and movie quotes.
Cruz started off by dubbing a kid named Curtis Holland from Wife Swap. She threw on a baseball cap and mouthed the words “No, I want my bacon. I’m gonna tell you something, bacon is good for me!”
Instead of the Frozen duet, Cruz and Fallon dubsmashed a scene from the film The Pink Panther. The memorable scene is between Steve Martin’s French character and an accent tutor who is trying to get him to say “hamburger” properly. While it wasn’t quite as memorable a performance for Cruz and Fallon, it did leave at least one viewer craving a hamburger … and obviously french fries.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
