WORCESTER ― A crew member was taken by ambulance from the location where crews are filming scenes from "The Walking Dead: Dead City" on Thursday morning after a temporary structure collapsed onto the sidewalk.

It happened before 10 a.m. outside the historic home at 21 Cedar St. where filming was set to resume on Thursday.

A worker who had been on a ladder was carried off on a stretcher into an ambulance, with cuts and bruises on his left leg.

The temporary structure was put back up again, and the filming schedule has not been interrupted.
