“i really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” the Saturday Night Live star wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. All i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.”

The message, shared on Instagram, instantly left fans worried for his safety, with many — including Nicki Minaj — sending him messages of support.
Go & give this man some love. My God. https://t.co/qchM3xGRdg

We can be so insensitive. God bless Kanye & Pete. Being flippant about mental illness speaks more about you than them. Stop saying the word love & live it. Love is an action.

As the Hollywood Reporter notes, Davidson is presumed to be appearing on SNL on Saturday evening. A tweet from actor Jon Cryer says that Davidson was said to be on the SNL set.
Am hearing Pete Davidson is at SNL and accounted for.
We are thinking of you, Pete.
You are loved.
(And just a heads up, when you finally turn on your cell, it’s gonna go apeshit for a little while) https://t.co/erUaTcPSdw

Davidson, who split from fiancée Ariana Grande this fall, has been vocal about his mental health and borderline personality diagnosis. Earlier this month, he posted an emotional message about being harassed over the relationship, writing, “No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself, I won’t.”
This week he praised Kanye West for sharing his mental health battles.
“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health,” he wrote. “I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”
