Phish announces set times and other details for Mondegreen Festival in Dover

More details have dropped on the much-anticipated Mondegreen, a Phish festival set to invade The Woodlands of Dover from Thursday, Aug. 15, to Sunday, Aug. 18.

The jam band has released set times, camping and hotel shuttle options on the official Mondegreen website.

Tickets for the festival went on sale in January, and fans have many pass options to create their own experience.

Unlike Firefly Music Festival, which historically took place each summer at The Woodlands, Mondegreen will not feature any other bands.

Instead, Phish plans to perform eight times over four days.

There also will be interactive fan experiences, art installations, specially curated regional food and drink, plus more.

Mondegreen is defined as "a word or phrase that results from a mishearing, especially of something recited or sung," according to Merriam-Webster.

The first Phish festival was the three-day Clifford Ball event in Plattsburgh, New York, in 1996. That event helped to set the template for the band's future festivals. The new Delaware fest is slated to be the band's 11th self-produced festival.

Phish also recently performed a four-day stint at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

According to the website, camping for Mondegreen opens Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 8 a.m. Other camping details are now available on the site and are subject to change.

Phish frontman Trey Anastasio plays during "Leaves" at the band's April 18, 2024 debut at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
