Pierce Brosnan's Estranged Son Makes Rare Public Appearance
Pierce Brosnan's estranged son Christopher Brosnan emerged out in public this week, after he was spotted running errands in London on Friday, June 21.
As seen in the photos obtained by Page Six, Christopher, 51 was dressed in a red hoodie under an olive green puffer vest and blue for the outing on Friday. He also appeared to be wearing a backwards navy blue flat cap as he carried what looked to be some sort of grocery bag.

The public sighting is a rare one for Christopher, who is believed to have been estranged from Pierce, 71, for nearly two decades.
In 2005, the Fast Charlie star opened up about Christopher's battle with drug abuse, telling Playboy Magazine, "Christopher is still very lost. Shockingly so. I know where he is, but he's having a hard life."
"I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover. He has tested everybody in this family but none more so than himself. He knows how to get out. He doesn’t want to," Pierce explained at the time, noting that he eventually had to "cut off" his son.
"You never completely cut them off,” he noted, “but I have cut Christopher off. I had to say, 'Go. Get busy living, or get busy dying.' He has my prayers," he said at the time.
Christopher is one of the A-list actor's five grown children. He previously worked alongside Pierce as an assistant director on several films, including Tomorrow Never Dies, (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Robinson Crusoe (1997).
Christopher, as well as his sister, Charlotte Bronsnan, 41, are the children of Pierce's first wife, Cassandra Harris, and her ex-husband, Dermot Harris. Pierce adopted the two kids after Dermot died in 1986, and Cassandra passed away just years later in 1991 following a battle with ovarian cancer.
Prior to her death, Cassandra welcomed one child with Pierce: son Sean Brosnan, 40. Pierce later became a father to two more sons: Dylan Brosnan, 27, and Paris Brosnan, 23, whom he shares with his current wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan.
