Piers Morgan Apologizes To JAY-Z And Beyoncé After Jaguar Wright Interview
Piers Morgan has issued an apology after hosting an interview on his Uncensored show with Jaguar Wright, where she shared disturbing allegations against JAY-Z And Beyoncé. In a clip from Tuesday’s (Oct. 8) episode, the 59-year-old made it clear that due to legal action taken by the couple, he would be amending the aforementioned conversation.
“Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about JAY-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview,” detailed Morgan.
“Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored but like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to JAY-Z and Beyoncé.”

He continued to attempt to explain why Wright was given the time and space on his show, despite her history of making unproven, outlandish accusations against various celebrities.
“The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear. That’s why we invited [Wright] on to be interviewed. The people making these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”
In the initial interview with Morgan, the “I Can’t Wait” singer targeted not only Bey and Jay, claiming that they are a “nasty couple” who keep “people against their will, putting people on planes while they’re unconscious.”
Wright also made comments about Sean “Diddy” Combs when speaking on JAY-Z, aligning the Brooklyn rapper with the criminal charges the Harlem-born entrepreneur faces after allegations of rape, abuse, and more. After the video was published, Ray J shared disappointment in Wright for chatting with Piers Morgan and not him or another local platform, as Morgan is based in the UK.
“You wanna keep taking these other ni**as money and not showing love to the community? That sh*t weak as f*ck,” ranted Ray J, asking Wright to “hit him up,” because he can “understand what the f*ck [she’s] talking about so we’ll know what’s the truth and what’s not.”
